The Smart Build Process - The three step to success

Once you have obtained your plot of land, it is essential that an architect is used for the design and specification of your project.
 
From this we can develop your architect drawings to our timber frame system drawings and produce the necessary calculations for the building inspectors. We will then provide you with all this information for you and your contractor.
 
Once all drawings are past and agreed, a date will be set for the manufacture and erection of your structure/s. A representative of our company will visit your project to verify the foundations are ready on the date stated to ensure a smooth and trouble free erection.

The day after the structures erection, the 1st fix trades can start.

In recent years there has been a revolution in the building of timber frame structures. The market has become more aware of the benefits of building in timber.

The Smart Timber Frame Company takes this another step forward in simplifying the way the panels are made, transported and erected.

By simplifying all these variables we are able to be more flexible. For example; if a traditional timber frame company arrived on site and the foundations were found to be different dimensions to the drawings the panels would have to be returned to the factory to be altered and re-calculated by engineers. This would incur charges from the engineers, and would also cost you time in loss of production on site, and the cost of any other plant hire such as scaffold/forklift.

With The Smart Timber Frame System this would not occur. Our panels will simply slide in and out meaning we can adjust the panels to suit your foundations. If your foundations happened to be 100mm incorrect this would not hinder the build programme or incur any extra costs.
